The beautiful civil wedding of Synje and Marco

Last August I once again had the honor to visit Schwäbisch Hall as a wedding photographer and take pictures for Synje and Marco. Even if I’m not from this old city, I associate a lot with her. Over the years, a great friendship has developed with other photographers from this area and whenever I go to Schwäbisch Hall to take photos and accompany weddings, I usually also visit my acquaintances. So Synje, Marco and I met in the big marketplace in front of St. Michael’s Church and the civil registry office in Schwäbisch Hall. Before we went to the wedding, we use the time to shoot some more photos in the small, picturesque streets of Schwäbisch-Hall. After a little warm-up, it was no longer a problem to make authentic wedding photos with the two of them. Marco and Synje, both of whom come from this area, were not very experienced in front of the camera, as most other bridal couples. The most important thing for a successful couple shooting is therefore that you can completely relax in front of the camera and do not cramp. With one or the other joke and some rough guidelines for possible poses, I therefore tried to create a relaxed atmosphere and to make the two laugh naturally during this bridal shoot in Schwäbisch Hall. Often, however, the emotions at the wedding cook up so much anyway that the smile and the glittering eyes naturally come to light, even in the pictures. By the way, the “Gelbinger Gasse” is especially popular for wedding photos in Schwäbisch Hall…

After the couple shooting was completed successfully, we went for the wedding in the beautiful town hall of Schwäbisch Hall. The nearly 300-year-old building with its sweeping staircases, high, stuccoed ceilings and old paintings is really recommended for a civil ceremony and therefore very much in demand for weddings in the Schwäbisch Hall area. In a relaxed atmosphere and only with the closest family and friends, the wedding took place in some special room. As a photographer, I was grateful for the large windows that ensured that the entire room was flooded with light. A tip to all bridal couples: When choosing your wedding location, be aware of the light as well. Of course, even a dodgy wooden cabin in the mountains offers a great location and a special lighting situation. However, you should always pay attention to how the light works: Are there windows in the location? Or can only artificial light be used? Therefore, it is best to take a few pictures without a flash and see how the light works on them.

After the emotional wedding we went to the champagne reception on the market place of Schwäbisch Hall, where a big weekly market takes place on Saturdays. Overall, I accompanied Synje and Marco for about 2 hours on this Friday morning.
